Okay, so it isn’t necessarily obligatory. I just like to do it.
Merry Christmas to all my readers (or Hanukkah, Yule, Kwanzaa, etc), and I hope you all enjoy your day.
For those who are feeling a bit down, don’t let feeling down get you down. Know that there are people who care about you, even if you don’t realize it. Keep hanging in there, if only for those people. The better times will come. It might take a while, and times might suck until then, but they’ll come.
Visit some family. Or some friends. Hell, make some new friends. Go volunteer someplace. Spread some of that Christmas spirit whether you’re feeling it or not. Sometimes just being a part of it all helps pick you up…and if it doesn’t, still don’t let it get you down.
Holidays aren’t great for everyone. Sometimes they suck giant donkey balls. Still, it’s important to take care of yourself even when you’re feeling like shit.
I like all y’all. Even you readers who just are reading one of my posts for the first time. Y’all are great. Keep your chins up, raise your glasses high, and celebrate being alive. That’s sometimes the greatest time you can have…just being happy to be here and exist.
So there it is. The annual “Merry Christmas” post to all y’all out there.
